The Great Smoky Mountains (Cherokee: ᎡᏆ ᏚᏧᏍᏚ ᏙᏓᎸ, Equa Dutsusdu Dodalv) are a mountain range rising along the Tennessee–North Carolina border in the southeastern United States. They are a subrange of the Appalachian Mountains, and form part of the Blue Ridge Physiographic Province. The range is sometimes called the Smoky Mountains and the name is commonly shortened to the Smokies. The Great Smokies are best known as the home of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which protects most of the range. The park was established in 1934, and, with over 11 million visits per year, it is the most visited national park in the United States.[1]

Wahoo Ziplines
Zipline
Opened in 2008, Wahoo Ziplines was the first in The Smokies. With approximately 2 miles of cables strung between platforms, zippers are immersed in a hardy forest canopy of beech and oak trees. There is no view left unobserved. From above, under or through, these cables offer heights from 40 feet to 250 feet from the ground. A pleasant set of walking trails along the forest floor connect platforms offering customers a chance to share their ziplining stories. The course is designed to build anticipation and in grandeur, to grab your attention and not let go.
Wahoo offers a family friendly experience for ages 5 and up. Concerns of slowing down and stopping are eliminated by the use of speed regulated lines and well trained certified guides. Freedom from stress allows each person to focus on the excitement of letting go, spinning 360, and even flipping upside down.

Roaring Fork
Estimated time: 4 hours
Roaring Fork is one of the most popular driving tours in the Smoky Mountains. It gets its name from the large, fast stream that flows next to the trail — “Roaring Fork.” The motor nature trail is popular because you get to experience the wooded forestry views as well as some of the history of the national park.
Foothills Parkway
Estimated time: 4-6 hours
The Foothills Parkway is a national parkway that traverses the foothills of the northern Great Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee. One of the best and most recent scenic drives to appear in the Smoky Mountains is the formerly “missing link” of the Foothills Parkway that was opened in 2018. Don’t forget to stop at Look Rock Viewing Platform!
Clingsmans Dome
Estimated time: 6 hours
At 6,643 feet, Clingmans Dome is the highest point in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The observation tower on the summit of Clingmans Dome offers spectacular 360° views of the Smokies and beyond for visitors willing to climb the steep half-mile walk to the tower at the top. Parking and restrooms are on site.
Cades Cove
Estimated time: 6-8 hours
One of the most popular destinations in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Cades Cove 11 miles one way loop road offers spectacular views of the valley all year around, sunrise to sunset. While we can’t promise you will see wildlife, Cades Cove is one of the places where animals are most active in the park.
